What you will learn:
During this weekend retreat, Swami Paramanada will lead several lectures based on the Teaching of the Raja Yoga Sutras of Patanajli Maharishi and Hatha Yoga practice classes. You will learn about the Yamas (practices and observances for your interaction with the external world) and Niyamas (personal practices related to your inner world), which are the foundation for success in the practice of Meditation, and how to apply the Yamas and Niyamas in our daily life. This retreat will give you a clear understanding of how to utilize the ancient Yogic teaching for achieving greater peace and Joy.
Raja Yoga Is the King of all Yogas, it is the royal road to freedom from misery. The practice of the methods prescribed in Raja Yoga leads to the cessation of all miseries and attainment of eternal bliss. Yamas and Niyamas are the most important preliminaries to the practice of Raja Yoga (Meditation).
This program is offered live through Zoom webinar with the availability for students to interact through Q&A with the presenter.
For enrolled students, a video recording will be available after each class in the event you miss a class or would like to review the content.
It is possible to register and take the course at any time. You can catch up on any classes you miss with the recordings.
