What You’ll Learn:
Course Description:
In yogic philosophy, everything affects the mind. By purifying your environment, you purify the mind and cultivate inner peace. From here your yoga practice begins. Everything in your environment influences the state of balance of your mind. When you want to integrate spiritual practices and healthy habits into your daily life, it’s important that your environment supports you. In this program, learn how to create a sacred space based on ancient practices from the Sivananda lineage. You’ll learn how to create an altar, how to strategically place inspiring images, as well as how to use candles and incense to purify the space. You’ll also learn how to set a separate space for your meditation practice, and how to keep this space energized with feelings of calmness and peace.
Gain ideas for creating an altar, separating spiritual space from larger rooms, creating a focal point with flowers, cloth, and inspiring images. Explore the meaning behind candles and incense, and learn a short universal ceremony to purify the atmosphere. You will also learn a short daily routine to start the day and to increase the sense of meaning and purpose in your life. Find inspiration and knowledge for how to take your sacred space with you wherever you may be.
This program is offered live through Zoom webinar with the availability for students to interact through Q&A with the presenter.
