Creating a Meaningful Third Act

Karen Moon

Many women spend much of their lives caring for others — nurturing families, managing careers, and showing up in relationships — often putting their own needs and desires on hold. As we age, the roles that once defined us begin to shift. While this phase of life brings its own set of challenges, it also offers a powerful opportunity: to pause, reflect, and choose a path forward that feels more aligned, more authentic, and more you.

In this warm, experiential workshop, psychotherapist Karen K. Moon, LCSW, invites you to slow down and reconnect with what feels most meaningful at this stage of life. With humor, insight, and compassion, Karen creates a safe and nourishing space for exploration and self-discovery. Through guided meditations, reflective journaling, and rich group dialogue, you’ll gain clarity around what it’s time to release — and what you’re ready to embrace.

Designed for women in midlife and beyond, this retreat honors both the inner journey and the wisdom that emerges in community. Together, we’ll challenge limiting myths about aging, explore supportive strategies for living with greater intention, and tap into the deep well of connection — to self, to others, and to this new chapter of life.

You’ll leave with:

  • A renewed sense of self-compassion and purpose
  • Mindsets and tools to support positive aging
  • Greater clarity around what you want to nourish — and let go of
  • The power of shared experience and the wisdom of women walking this path together

Offered as 2 satsangs and 3 workshops (subject to change).

The presentations associated with this Yoga Vacation Program begin with a noon workshop  on the first day of the program and conclude with a 90-minute noon workshop on the last day of the program.  Click here to read more about the Yoga Vacation Program details and view the ashram schedule for yoga classes and meals during your stay.
