Yoga Teacher Training
December 21 — 29, 2022

9-Day Onsite Immersion

For Graduates of Online TTC

Senior Staff of the Yoga Retreat
Registration is closed for this course.

This program is for students who completed the Online Teacher Training program. It is an opportunity for online TTC graduates to live in the ashram and participate in daily activities including morning and evening satsang, karma yoga, the yogic diet, and experience the enveloping beauty of nature on Paradise Island.

The skills and activities focused on during this immersion will be (as permitted by Covid protocols at the time of the training):

– giving physical adjustments to students
– practicing and teaching headstand
– practicing advanced pranayama
– experiencing the kriyas (purification/internal cleansing practices)
– for those interested, the chance to be initiated into a chosen mantra

Completion of the 9-day onsite immersion will qualify the student to teach yoga using both verbal and physical adjustments. The student will receive the Sivananda Yoga Siromani Certification at the 200-hour level.

This module will occur alongside the current teacher training happening onsite at the ashram, which offers additional inspiration and the chance to connect with like-minded people. If you would like to extend your stay, you can participate in the TTC graduation onsite (this will be an additional cost for accommodations).

The 9-Day Onsite Immersion must be completed within 12 months of Online TTC to obtain the complete Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training Certificate. Students of the February 2021, May 2021, and July 2021 Online TTCs have until February 2023 to complete the program.
