I worship the self-effulgent Lord, the consort of Goddess Uma, the guru of the devas, the cause of the universe. I worship the Lord of beasts, adorned by snakes, holding a deer. I salute the one whose eyes are the sun, moon, and fire, and who is beloved to Krishna, I salute the auspicious one who is the refuge of devotees and the giver of boons.
