Food as a Spiritual Path

October 29 - November 1, 2014

Description

Food is one of the most powerful ways that we relate to the people around us, to the planet, and to ourselves. There is enough food to feed everyone on this planet and still one in seven people cannot get enough food to stay alive. Connecting people to each other and exchanging knowledge is one of the vital keys for ending world hunger. Join a world leader in the conversation on food, hunger, and sustainable development for a journey has nothing to do with diets or calories; it is about discovering the faces of hunger in the world and about the choice to release self-centeredness. Offered as two evening and one morning satsang and two daily hour-and-a-half workshops, together, we will seek a genuine connection with this profound spiritual path.
