Yoga teachers working with older people can easily use yoga for the process of healing osteoporosis and maintaining healthy bones, a critical component of healthy aging. Based on Swami Vishnudevananda’s 5 Points of Yoga, this training takes a holistic approach to osteoporosis and teaches you how yoga addresses the bones most susceptible to fracture; how to perform postures to increase bone mass density; and how to assess individual needs and prescribe and adjust postures for students at any level of practice. Come advance you skills as a yoga teacher.
