Learn yoga in a gentle way so all can do yoga (within the same class) including: yoga in chairs and wheelchairs, yoga for chronic illness, yoga for seniors, yoga while healing injuries and pre/post surgery. You will learn that yoga truly is for everyone. This includes specific yoga postures and breathing practices for calming the mind and bringing healing and energy to the body.
This course welcomes those new to yoga, or experienced practitioners wanting gentle yoga classes. All ages and stages of health are welcome. This course is also good for current teachers wanting ideas how to teach mixed level/ability classes, to teach yoga at senior homes, and how to teach basic gentle modifications during a mixed level class. Also for those wanting to learn how to modify their own yoga to meet their individual needs in a group class.
