Yoga Nidra, or ‘yogic sleep’, is the practice of learning to welcome what is, as it is. Through this anxiety-reducing practice of relaxation, meditation and visualization, children will develop the ability to induce a sense of deep relaxation to help clear the mind, re-pattern thoughts and memories and reduce anxiety about future events. When kids are less stressed, they learn better too. Through the practice of Yoga Nidra, you will help children expand their imaginations and place them in an inner space of calm, helping to eliminate negative behavioral patterns.
