Through the practice of vedantic Self-enquiry, you can figure out our areas of misunderstanding, misperception and illusion in our lives and make better choices, which will help you become more aware, peaceful, happy, and free. Participants will study the Vivekachudamani of Adi Sankaracharya, the powerful text about the nature of the Self and the Not-Self. Swami Sitaramananda will comment and guide you on how to reflect upon the meanings and realize the truth of the teaching in your own lives. This course is ideal for people who have already been introduced to the basics of yoga and meditation. Besides the focused hours of study and dialogue, participants will practice mauna (silence), keep a spiritual diary, and take yoga classes and satsangs.
