The Bhagavad Gita's teachings are filled with deep philosophy and practical advice for all life situations. It offers a source of help for human beings to solve the ever-present problems of birth and death: pain, suffering, fear, bondage, love, and hate. This is a continuation of the teachings from last year’s course, starting instruction from chapter five. Students who did not participate last year are welcome to attend and are advised to read chapters one through four of the Bhagavad Gita with Swami Sivananda’s Commentary. Daily readings and lectures will give unique interpretation and insight into the Bhagavad Gita.
This course is open to all students who wish to deepen their knowledge and application of some of the highest teachings of Yoga. Participants do not need to be Yoga teachers.
